Live Online Lessons
Now accepting new students! Learn violin, viola, fiddle, or even cello from the comfort of home. Try a virtual lesson, available for beginning through advanced strings players. Each private lesson is 30 minutes long. Your 1:1 lesson includes real-time teacher feedback and encouragement, taught through Zoom.
Looking for a group experience? Try Fiddle Fun, a live class for ages 9-14, taught through Outschool.com. Learn to play by ear and build your fiddle repertoire through a weekly tune-teach format. Subscribe for a new tune each week!

Summer Camps
Now enrolling! Start your summer with strings. Join fun mini-camps for ages 7-12. In Fiddle Fun, you’ll learn fiddle tunes the traditional way – by ear! Pick up new tunes and have fun jamming with friends. Beginners will love FUNdamental Foundations. Get ready for strings in school. Brush up and keep practicing or try a stringed instrument for the first time!
In-Person Group Fiddle Classes
Interested in joining an old-time, bluegrass or fiddle jam? Not sure where to start? Join Traditional Tune Thursdays, at Chantilly Music. Learn a new fiddle tune every week! Add to your repertoire while learning to play by ear. You’ll also learn music theory and fiddle techniques. Best of all, we are able to meet in person and enjoy music together. You’ll also learn jam etiquette and practice playing music with others in a friendly and supportive environment. Get comfortable playing with a familiar group so you can join any jam with confidence!
